Blis is looking for an experienced candidate to take on the role of Sales Manager, New York. They will be reporting to a Senior Sales Director in NY and be tasked with building a strong foundation of business in the NY market. The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience within the market and have strong agency and client direct relationships. They will need to demonstrate an in­depth understanding of the current mobile market and the key accounts within the market on which to focus in order to drive revenue.

 This exceptional candidate is highly focused, tenacious, and practical with commercial flair and excellent social and networking skills. The successful candidate will have a 'can ­do', proactive attitude and sense of urgency in driving revenue.

Most importantly, the candidate will be able to generate new business, develop strong agency/client relationships and deliver the highly professional service for which Blis is renowned. Specifically, the ideal candidate will:

  • Leverage existing and new agency/client relationships to build pipeline of new business across Blis product set.
  • Target key agency and client-direct business.
  • Convert pipeline and close new business to achieve sales targets.
  • Build deep relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service.

Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Agency relationships with Wavemaker, Essence, Carat, Digitas and/or Havas
  • Strong background in digital/mobile sales and account management 
  • Knowledge of mobile and understanding of how mobile is sold 
  • Demonstrable understanding of the needs and requirements of digital media buyers
  • Proven track record of growing new business from scratch
  • The confidence to present to large and small audiences
  • Proven ability to close deals and achieve targets
  • Disciplined and driven self­starter who embraces the opportunity take our business to the next level
  • A commitment to being a team player in a dynamic environment
  • Good references from employers and agency customers
